Celebrating Malta's Finest

About the Malta Esports Awards

The Malta Esports Awards is an annual celebration of the people, performances and achievements that shape the Maltese esports community.

Organised by the Malta Esports Association, the Awards bring the community together once a year to recognise excellence across Maltese esports — celebrating those who compete at the highest level, those who contribute to the growth of the local scene, and those whose dedication continues to push esports in Malta forward.

At its heart, the Malta Esports Awards is about giving recognition where it is deserved. Maltese competitors and esports professionals regularly dedicate countless hours to their craft, often achieving remarkable results both locally and on the international stage. The Awards provide a platform to tell their stories, celebrate their accomplishments and inspire the next generation of Maltese esports talent.

By the Community, for the Community

The Malta Esports Awards is a voluntary, community-driven initiative.

The Malta Esports Association is itself a voluntary organisation, and the work behind the Awards is carried out by volunteers who give their time, expertise and energy because of a shared passion for esports and a belief in the potential of the Maltese community.

From planning and administration to nominations, communications, production and the organisation of the ceremony itself, the Awards are made possible by people who choose to contribute their time towards recognising the achievements of others.

There is a simple motivation behind that work: we love esports, and we want to see Maltese esports succeed.

About the Malta Esports Association

The Malta Esports Association (MESA) is a non-profit voluntary organisation established to represent and promote the interests of esports and its stakeholders in Malta.

The Association brings together players, clubs, tournament organisers, businesses, professionals, enthusiasts and other stakeholders with a common objective: to create a stronger, more professional, inclusive and sustainable esports ecosystem in Malta.

Its work focuses on supporting the growth of esports, increasing its recognition, creating opportunities for Maltese talent, developing appropriate standards and structures, and representing the interests of the community with relevant stakeholders and public authorities.

The Malta Esports Awards forms part of that wider mission.

Celebrating Maltese Esports

Esports achievements can sometimes happen far away from the spotlight — in online competitions, international qualifiers, late-night practice sessions, local tournaments and countless hours spent building teams, events and communities.

The Malta Esports Awards exists to bring those achievements into the spotlight.

One night. One community. A celebration of Maltese esports.
